Piano Instructor (French or English)

Theory/History Instructor

Emily Pepper holds a Bachelor of Music with Honors Music Education and a Minor in French Studies from Western University in London, Ontario. There, she studied under Gwen Beamish, a world renowned piano soloist. Recently, she has also had the chance to study with Louis Nagel, a former professor at the University of Michigan School of Music. 

 

Emily has also obtained The Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance in 2016. Currently, she is enrolled at the Faculty of Education at Windsor University where she plans to attain her Bachelor of Education degree in 2019. In 2014, she played for Angela Hewitt at the Parsons and Poole Masterclass at Western University. 

 

A Chatham native, Emily has competed in Chatham’s Kiwanis Music Festivals since the age of 6 and won the Silver Tray in 2013 while studying piano lessons under Elizabeth Tithecott.  

 

Emily is excited to be back in Chatham and to become a member at the Chatham Music Academy. She is looking forward to meeting new students and ignite their passion for music.
